Yeah...

So. New MacBook Air? Thin? Great, but what about a user replaceable battery?...

$20 for 4 apps to add to my already hacked iPod touch? I have those apps now ('cept for Stocks)...

update
Apparently it is not so hard to change the MBA battery....

  1. It does a have an easily replaceable battery ... from what I can tell the bottom comes off very easily and it just plugs in. You can be assured that third paries will come up with both internal and external solutions once the Air is released.

The Touch is less expensive because Apple did not use subscription accounting like the iPhone and Apple TV - ie to reduce retail cost. Roughly $30 of the iPhone is a tax that Apple paid on consumers behalf to allow for upgrades for the first two years FREE of charge - the touch was more of a retail move.
